Eno Foundation

Westport, CT

This elegant, historic 11,000 sq ft brick and stone was built in 1938 to house the Eno Foundation, name for William Phelphs Eno, who founded a world-famous traffic institute bearing his name. The institute was responsible for many innovations that have gone to become mainstays for the kinds of civil engineering work LANDTECH performs, such as traffic circles, one-way streets, crosswalks and safety islands, and more.

Using existing zoning regulations for historic buildings, LANDTECH has worked closely with the property owners to develop and submit plans that include individual home lots and also preserve the main historic structure for use as converted office space.
