A little bit of paradise right in our own backyard

LANDTECH was a member of Long Beach West (Stratford, CT) Restoration Team that was recognized by the U.S Department of the Interior who received the Coastal America Partnership Award. The Nation’s Highest accolade for environmental restoration partnership projects. The project included the demolition of 35 decaying cottages (photo top) and another 25 outbuildings. Nearly 85% of the materials removed from the site was recycled. The project was supported by $1 Million in federal stimulus funds, Today Long Beach is one of the most productive habitats in the State of Connecticut and one of the last remaining undeveloped shorelines.
