Choate auditorium and classroom complex

choate-auditoriumThe LANDTECH team is very excited to be working with Choate Rosemary Hall on the new Choate auditorium and classroom complex. Designed by world renowned Robert A. M. Stern Architects, it promises to be a showpiece that will create a performing arts hub with the existing Paul Mellon Arts Center and will accomodate the entire student body assembling in one location for the first time. The project has been carefully conceived to interact with and support the surrounding environment and landscape in a sustainable way.

LANDTECH’s Rob Pryor and Chris Allan have been working closely with the project team and local town officials to secure approvals from the Wallingford Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission this week. Members of the Wallingford Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission characterized the application as “exemplary” as it related to protection of the adjacent natural resources of the site. We look forward to working with the project team to pursue Planning and Zoning Commission approval later on this month.
