For over 35 years, LANDTECH has been a caring and dedicated supporter of the Westport community and surrounding communities in Fairfield County. We live and work here, and feel tremendous gratitude for the health and good fortune enjoyed by our family and friends, and all of the blessings of life here. Wakeman Town Farm

One of LANDTECH’s favorite causes, the Wakeman Town Farm Sustainability Center is an organic demonstration homestead dedicated to serving the Westport Community. Wakeman Town Farm is a model facility created to educate the community with local healthy food production, responsible land stewardship, sustainable practices and community service orientation. Activities include educational workshops, student internships, hosting after school environmental clubs, children’s summer camp programs, growing fruits and vegetables, animal husbandry, providing a farm stand and CSA pickup location. Al’s Angels

There are charitable organizations, and then there is the legendary Al’s Angels. Brainchild of direct-response innovator Al DiGuido, the Angels are a group of dedicated supporters throughout Fairfield County who work tirelessly to provide relief, comfort and joy to children and families in need. Al’s Angels help families get through treatment for cancer and other illnesses and help those struck with hardship or who are victims of violence. Alzheimer’s Foundation of America

Founded by a consortium of organizations, the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America exists to assure quality of care and excellence in service to individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related illnesses, and to provide information, support and relief to their caregivers and families. American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society is at the forefront of providing important research into fighting cancer in all its forms. They provide information and support for patients and families, and are leading the way in education about health and prevention of various forms of cancer. Chad A Jacobs Memorial Foundation

Established in loving memory of our friend Chad Jacobs, who passed away at the age of 45 from cancer, the Chad A. Jacobs Memorial Foundation funds academic and athletic scholarships to children in our community. The Foundation provides academic and athletic scholarship funds to several institutions. Elderhouse

ElderHouse is a not-for-profit adult day center serving seniors in southeastern Fairfield county for more than 35 years. Elderhouse provides a safe, active and caring place where seniors can get involved during the day in activities and connecting with one another, allowing them to remain living in their own homes while delivering peace of mind to caregivers. Elderhouse provides the benefits of active engagement, health monitoring and individualized care. Caregivers benefit from reliable, affordable, high-quality services for their loved ones, resulting in better health and well-being for families in our community. Near and Far Aid

Many don’t realize that thousands of our neighbors in Connecticut are living in poverty. Near and Far Aid works to eliminate poverty in Fairfield County by finding and funding programs that seek to achieve lasting change. Since 2000, they have granted over $14 million, and each year Near & Far Aid has a positive impact on thousands of people through grants provided to more than 95 local agencies. Operation Hope

Operation Hope in Fairfield, Connecticut provides affordable housing, shelter, food pantries and community kitchens for area men, women and children in need. This amazing program enjoys a long history of helping those in need, the disenfranchised or abused, and in particular the children of families in need. Project Return

Project Return is a Westport, Connecticut-based organization created to empower girls who may have experienced traumatic histories to rebuild their lives. Project Return works to create safe, structured, nurturing environments where adolescent girls and young women in crisis can heal and grow. St Jude’s Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Founder and entertainer Danny Thomas opened the doors to St. Jude in 1962 with the dream that “no child should die in the dawn of life.” His original vision is still the practice today, that no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Unlike any other hospital, the majority of St Jude’s funding comes from individual contributions, so that families in need receive a bill from St. Jude’s. Shelton Robotics

The Shelton High School “GaelHawks” Robotics team is dedicated to enriching the technical knowledge and teamwork of students interested in the engineering sciences. They won the NE Waterbury District competition on March 1, at Wilby High School in Waterbury. The Gaelhawks were seeded second for most of the competition and competed at the NE Dartmouth District Competition in Dartmouth Mass last year. Staples Players

This Staples High School Theatre program, known as the Staples Players, has long been the envy of secondary school performing arts programs for its near-professional quality shows. The Players have been an ongoing marvel in our community for decades, with over 75 students participating and over 15,000 attendees each year. Many call it “the best entertainment value in Fairfield County.” LANDTECH is proud to sponsor their programs and productions. Staples Wreckers Gridiron Club

Founded in 1993, the Staples Gridiron Club is a volunteer organization made up of player’s parents and Staples football supporters working toward helping the Staples Football Program reach its goals. The Gridiron Club helps support the football program and its cheerleading program by participating in an assortment of fundraising activities. These include a scholarship fund for graduates, financial assistance to players, donations for equipment, uniform and field improvements, subsidizing team travel and publishing team materials. Staples Wreckers Softball

LANDTECH is proud of its involvement in the growing girl’s softball programs in Westport’s public schools, including the Staples Wreckers Softball team. The team is building toward its goal of a state championship, and LANDTECH, together with other player’s parents and softball supporters, has been helping the team with donations and contributions of our services to help provide equipment, uniform and field improvements, team travel and other team materials. Westport Chamber of Commerce

The Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce’s mission is to support businesses and the Westport-Weston community at large to develop to their full potential by promoting economic development. The Chamber provides the community and its members with educational and networking opportunities, expositions and exhibits, insurance programs, business advice sessions, luncheons and other benefits to help its members grow vibrant, prosperous businesses across a broad spectrum of specialties. Westport i2Robotics

Founded in 2012, Westport’s i²Robotics team was created by two students interested in robotics and today has grown to 9 Westport high school students who share a similar interest. They have participated in numerous CT State competitions and competed in the Connecticut State Inspire Award, setting a world record for the highest non-penalty score in a match and securing a spot at the World Championships in St. Louis, MO, the only team representing Connecticut. The Westport Library

Westport’s award-winning public library earned “5-Star” status in 2013 from Library Journal. The Westport Library is devoted to enriching the intellectual and creative lives of the residents of Westport, providing is a vibrant community hub where people of all ages come to seek information, gain knowledge, exchange ideas and share experiences. Along with providing world-class resources, the library is a warm and welcoming destination where individuals read and research, meet and enjoy the shared space. Westport Police Athletic League (PAL)

Established in 1949, the Westport Police Athletic League is a non-profit organization run by both active and retired police officers and volunteers from our Community. The Westport PAL is one of the town’s oldest youth organizations, yet continues to blaze a trail with many outstanding youth athletic programs including football, cheerleading, basketball, wrestling, lacrosse and track & field, as well as academic scholarships and general support of the Westport Community. At the core of the Westport PAL organization is the secret to its success, the volunteers and their partnership with the town. PAL activities also include holiday fireworks, summer barbecues, the town ice rink, a golf tournament and a children’s Holiday Party. LANDTECH is proud to support the Westport Rotary Club. Westport Arts Center
