Warning Description: Winter Weather Advisory
Warning Date: 3:41 am EST on January 20, 2012
WarningSum:...Winter Weather Advisory In Effect From 1 Am To 4 Pm Est
Saturday...
Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Upton has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 1 am to 4 PM EST
Saturday.
* Locations...south central and southeast Connecticut.
* Hazard types...snow.
* Accumulations...4 to 6 inches of snow.
* Winds...northeast 5 to 10 mph.
* Temperatures...in the teens tonight...rising to near freezing
along the coast Saturday afternoon...and to 25 to 30 inland.
* Visibilities...occasionally one half mile in moderate snow
Saturday morning.
* Timing...late tonight through Saturday afternoon.
* Impacts...travel difficulties due to snow covered roads and
limited visibilities.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
